Dear Charity Partner,
We are SO excited that you have joined Freedom 4/24 in the fight to end human trafficking by fundraising and representing us in the Blue Ridge Marathon. Below you will find a link to set up your personal fundraising page. Your page has been preloaded with basic information that all of our charity partner participants have access to. However, you do not have to use the template we created. You can insert the bio you created to personalize your fundraising page and share why you are running for freedom. We HIGHLY recommend you create your own bio as your donors will connect with your personal story. They want to support you and want to hear your heart for the cause. As you create your bio, keep in mind that you fundraising goal is $1,000.
In addition to this email, you will receive our Charity Partner Fundraising guide with helpful, creative tips and information on the fundraising process. In addition to this email, you will receive:
*If you are creating a joint fundraising page (please do so ONLY if you have confirmed with Rachael) please do NOT make two (or more, depending on your group size) separate pages. When you enter in your fundraising goal please enter in $1,000 x however many people are in your fundraising group. Create a bio encompassing the entire group and have everyone share the link.
Because this is your personal fundraising page, you will have real-time access to your list of donors and information regarding their donation. Online donations will be added immediately; offline donations will take 1-2 weeks to be added to your page. Please be sure to thank your donors in a timely fashion.
Getting started is easy to do– don't delay in setting up your page. The sooner you set up your page, the sooner you can start fundraising. If you have any questions about this process, you can call me at 434.582.4517 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also reach out to our Director of Programs by email, email@example.com.
Thank you for joining Freedom 4/24 in our mission to bring freedom and justice. YOU are making a difference.
