Join me as I fundraise to end sex trafficking in the Hokie Half Marathon on September 23, and all donations will be matched 100% by race day
The funds I raise will go towards Freedom 4/24 and their international partners working on the frontlines with victims and survivors of human trafficking in India, Uganda, and Thailand. The funds will also support Street Ransom, a non-profit providing direct services to trafficking and sexual exploitation victims in Roanoke.
Right in Roanoke, there is a shelter for women rescued from trafficking that is newly built by Street Ransom and getting ready to open, but needs the funds to do so. Your donation is not arbitrary; it is directly supporting victims around the world and right here in our city.
Sex trafficking is one of the greatest evils in our world today, but there is hope. Organizations are now working together with law enforcement to rescue victims of sex trafficking, provide them with resources to heal, and keep the perpetrators from ever committing these crimes again.
