Why $24?
When Freedom 4/24 Founder Christine Gelatt was just 19 years old, she had a dream to make a difference in the lives of sexually exploited girls in the red light areas of Bangkok, Thailand. She learned that you could buy a girl for a whole day for just $24. With the desire to fight this injustice, Freedom 4/24 was born as Christine returned to the state with the desire to both educate people about the issue of human trafficking and raise funds to support organizations like Beginnings Foundation.
Today, Freedom 4/24 sustainably invests in freedom for a lifetime. Just $24 a month allows Freedom 4/24 to facilitate prevention efforts to stop exploitation from occurring in the first place and enables our partners to provide restoration for survivor of trafficking and abuse all year long.
