Help Me Fundraise and Run for Freedom

Join me as I take my advocacy a step further by running and fundraising on behalf of Freedom 4/24 and Street Ransom in the Hokie Half Marathon on September 23.

Throughout the training process my goal is to raise $1,000 for victims and survivors of human trafficking. The funds I raise will go towards Freedom 4/24 and their international partners working on the frontlines with victims and survivors of human trafficking in India, Uganda, and Thailand. The funds will also support Street Ransom, a non-profit providing direct services to trafficking and sexual exploitation victims in Roanoke. Street Ransom is especially near and dear to my heart because of what it means for the community here in southwest Virginia. Street Ransom is trying to open the first shelter in Virginia for victims of human trafficking. This is a huge need because right now, children who are rescued out of human trafficking have nowhere to go and often end up in juvenile detention centers instead, just because the police have nowhere safe to send them. Join me as I run for freedom in Blacksburg, Virginia and give a voice to the voiceless.
