Hi! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! My name is Allison. I work as a nurse in the Pediatric ICU and currently live in Knoxville, TN. I was first made aware of human trafficking as a worldwide issue in my sophomore year of college at a Passion conference in Atlanta, GA. Since then, it has been an issue close to my heart and I have looked for ways to help. This seemed like an obvious yes-- to be able to raise awareness AND money to further advocate for their freedom! I would love to discuss this issue (and my heart for it) with you anytime. Please contact me with whatever questions you have!

Throughout the training process my goal is to raise $1,000 for victims and survivors of human trafficking. In addition to fundraising, as I train I will write the names of trafficking survivors on my arms, as motivation and a reminder of who I'm running for. The funds I raise will go towards Freedom 4/24 and their international partners working on the frontlines with victims and survivors of human trafficking in India, Uganda, and Thailand. The funds will also support Street Ransom, a non-profit providing direct services to trafficking and sexual exploitation victims in Roanoke. Join me as I run for freedom in Blacksburg, Virginia and give a voice to the voiceless.
