Sharing Disabled Pending Approval

Join me as I take my advocacy a step further by running and fundraising on behalf of Freedom 4/24 in the Grings Mill 10K. Today, choose to make a step towards ending human trafficking.

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

$1,000 towards $2,000

I am Emily Robertson, wife to David, mom to Juliana (1 year old), and stepmom to Katie (11 years old). I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist in Cumberland County, PA. I started my career in Lynchburg, VA about 10 years ago, where I was introduced to Freedom 424, as well as to the salvation of our loving God. I have participated in the Run 4 Their Lives races twice. This past year I was curious about what it would entail to host/direct a Run 4 Their Lives race locally. After deciding the timing wasn't right for such a feat, the option to run a local race as a charity partner was presented to me. What better opportunity to use a God-given ability to run to help bring freedom from the injustice and inhumanity of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Upon reading several stories of trafficking victims, I had no doubt this was something I must do. My friend, Nickeea, was whole-heartedly on board when I presented the idea and from there the idea took flight!

Introducing Nickeea:

My name is Nickeea Raves, wife to Ryan, and mom to Jameson (3 years
old) and Rayna (1 year old). I am a nurse in Harrisburg, PA. I have
enjoyed running races for the last 10+ years. I am excited and
honored to be running for such a worthy cause. I was blessed to be
born to a mother whose priority was to protect me. Unfortunately, she
was not afforded the same protection as a child and her story of
sexual abuse is all too common. I am running for Freedom 4/24 to raise
money and make a difference in the lives of sexually exploited girls.

We are combining our efforts and our hope is to raise $2,000 together. This would help to bring freedom to about 84 girls, both here and in areas of Uganda, Thailand, and India. We will be running the Grings Mill 10K in Reading, PA in August as a charity partner for Freedom 424. Our goal is two-fold: to raise awareness of the realities of modern day slavery and sexual exploitation and to share the freely-given love of Christ with those who have yet to experience it. Please consider making a donation to help bring freedom and justice to victims and survivors of sexual exploitation
and human trafficking.

Thank you!
