Freedom 4/24 is proud to present the 5th annual Freedom Gala on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Amazement Square in Lynchburg. Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m.; program begins at 7:30 p.m. Dress is black-tie. The Freedom Gala is designed to further awaken and unify the community's resolve to bring an end to sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

This year's theme of luxury and elegance will contrast with the hidden epidemic of human trafficking in the United States. We are excited to highlight Freedom 4/24's domestic work and our partners who are bringing freedom and justice to girls and women across the U.S.

We are thrilled to welcome Barbara Amaya as our Gala keynote speaker! Barbara is a human trafficking survivor from Northern Virginia and the first survivor to serve as our Gala keynote speaker. She will share her testimony of trauma and violence she experienced for over a decade as a victim of domestic minor sex trafficking and exploitation in Washington D.C. and New York City.

Today, Barbara is an award winning advocate, speaker, trainer, author of the Amazon best-selling memoir "Nobody's Girl," and a survivor leader in the movement to end human trafficking and all violence against women.
